Custom Filter Synchronization Between BigPicture & Jira Cloud

How long does it typically take for BigPicture to see saved custom filters created in Jira or through other tools like ScriptRunner Enhanced Search?  

I use these to setup my scopes but it can take a considerable amount of time to actually be able to see and choose the saved filters in the Scope Definition.

Is there something available to manually initiate the synchronization?

You could modify Filter sync interval period  in Scriptrunner Settings:
