Custom Textfield with limited signs

Hi,

is there a way to customize a text field (single line) with a limited number of signs (for example only 10 signs)?

if its possible where can i customize it?

I presume you mean "characters" instead of "signs". Otherwise i have no clue what you mean. 

Out of the box it is not possible but you can solve it with scriptrunner plugin.
