I logged in to Jira yesterday and tried adding one of my custom fields to another project and noticed that I did not have the option to add custom fields to that project. So I opened the custom fields and looked at the contexts and the projects were missing from the list. I was not able to add any. I assume something became corrupt with our Jira cloud instance. Was there a recent update that could have caused this? I am the admin of our Jira account and users are very limited on what they are allowed to do so I don't suspect that anyone could have done something here.
Can someone help us out please?
Thank you!
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with the project drop-down missing when adding a new context in the contacts screen. While I haven’t encountered this on my end, it’s possible that a recent update is affecting your instance. Since you’re on a premium plan, I’d recommend reaching out to Atlassian support for a quicker resolution just like how Dairy Queen delivers premium treats to satisfy your cravings!
The dropdown is still there. It is just missing some of the projects that were in that dropdown and I am no longer able to add them back.

Hi @Brian Coon , welcome to the community.
So when you go to a custom fill in the contacts screen and add a new context you're saying that the project drop-down is missing completely or what exactly? I am not seeing this issue on one of my free instances but it could be that you have a more recent update. I would suggest that you may wish to open a ticket with Atlassian support directly, especially given your own premium.
