Custom field name change affects Workflow conditions, Validators and Post functions ?

I want to change names of custom fields for them to be more clear and intuitive (e.g. from "Product Review" to "CPO Approval"). Will the name change however affect Workflow conditions, Validators and Post functions ?

Custom field name changes will not affect workflow(Conditions, Validators, and Post functions). If you change custom field ID will affect the workflow.

It should not affect those things you listed. But it will definitely affect Automation rules.

Custom field name changes will not affect. Automatically, the changed custom field name will change to the updated name in Conditions, Validators, and Post functions.
