Custom field "Project Picker" is not appearing on screen; in issue layout say "coming soon".

Hi,

I have tried in JIRA Core Cloud version to add custom field "Project Picker", but is is not appearing on Issue screen view and if I check issue screen layout I can see comment "Coming soon" and description "We can´t show this field type in a new issue view yet, but we are working on it".

Does anyone know how to resolve this or is it just not availbale for Cloud version yet?

Hi,

I have the same problem, just spent several hours trying to get my custom field to show. 

It's visible quite well when adding new issues, across all projects. But when editing an issue, neither in the popup or in the side view does the field show. Why?

Then I finally found on project level the same information as @Miroslav Mraz "Coming soon".

Why would you allow us to create a custom field, spend time adding picklist values, and then we can't use it?? 
Makes no sense.

When is it available? 
I'm using Jira Cloud Version.

Hi Hans,

We still don't know when this field will be available for the new issue view. This field is available to add on the screens because it works on the old view.

Hi Miroslav,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The field Project picker is not available for the new issue view only, but it's available for the old view. I tested here and even if we add value to the field using the old Jira view, it won't appear if you open the ticket on a board or Issues and filter. For now, we will need to wait for the field to be fully implemented in the new view.
