I am trying to figure out why my custom notifications stopped working after we upgraded to 5.1 JIRA from 4.1.2. All out of the box notifications working just fine.
Hi Karl,
u mean email notifications ?
yes email notifications. they are not coming from a plug in or any custom templates. It's a custom named generic event with distribution to various groups. event is fired through the workflow. for example "Fire a RM Change Notification Event event that can be processed by the listeners."

And that event is listed in events ? Try to look in email-template-id-mappings.xml .

I checked the logs and don't see anything. I also checked email-template-id-mappings.xml and see "Generic Event" is listed. Do you have any other ideas?

Maybe they were coming from a plugin? Or your customizations are not compatible with 5.1?

The migrations shouldn't take away any such changes. However, look at the notification scheme to confirm.
What template is used for the mail?

Any error in the logs? Are you sure the event is fired? Check the workflows to confirm.

Hi
Can anyone help me with this query?
I want to create email reminder for the users. They should be notified for the time sheets to be completed on a specified time via email.
Is it possible ?
Thanks
Aman
