Custom plugin cloud that send and receive emails

Hi Community,

for a client, I have to create a custom plugin cloud that sends a formatted email to one or more addresses and that could receive emails formatted in a specific way for update ticket fields.

Can you tell me if there is this possibility with Forge and/or Atlassian Connect, please?

In principle that's possible.  At this moment (Sept. 2021) I think Atlassian Connect would be the better implementation choice.
