I have a project (In self hosted jira), that i've been struggling with some configuration I need:
1. I have issues and sub-issues. I want to display in the issues list (search screen) only the Issues (without the subs) by default. I know that now I can do this with the filtering but i want to configure it globally in my project such that every user in it will have this configuration.
2. I want to adjust the list view for all the users. currently every user can configure its search screen/list view as he likes. i want do define the structure of this table globally.
3. When i import issues from csv, there is a big risk that something wrong changed. Is there any backup mechanizm?
Thank you! @Shikha Verma
And what about question 2?
@Ori Shacham , I think Jira doesn't support the list view globally for all users. So you can create a shared filter with predefined columns and Encourage users to use this shared filter for consistency.

I @Ori Shacham, Welcome to the community!
1. Unfortunately, Jira doesn't have a built-in feature to set a default filter globally for all users. You can create a saved filter to exclude sub-tasks and encourage users to use it.
3. To decrease the risk of data loss, create an XML backup and backup attachments before performing CSV imports.
