Customize email notifications

Hi
I've seen on the online help that it's possible to customize the content of the notifications by email that we send.
How do I get the acces to the Jira distribution to do so ?

Hi Coralie,

Are you using Ondemand or a downloaded version your hosting yourself?

If you are using OnDemand this is not possible.

If you are hosting your Jira instance yourself you can edit the velocity templates in the following directory : <Jira Installation Directory>/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/templates/email

You can customize the content of notification in both Server and Cloud versions of JIRA using our addon https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.vacom.jirassimo/server/overview
