Dear Team,
Please kindly help
I have some issue, in my company managed software i am using 5 board :
1. Aux Board, With Status : Aux To Do>Aux In Progress>Aux Done
2. Development Board, with Status : To Do > In Progress> Done Dev> Ready To Test
3. QA Board, with status : Ready To SIT> SIT> SIT Failed> SIT Done
4. UAT Board, with status : Ready To UAT>UAT>UAT Failed>Done
5. Prod Issue Board, with status : Prod Issue>Prod Issue Fixing>Prod Issue Testing>Prod Issue Failed>Done
everytime i create new issue for eg in Aux Board, all the status on 5 board show on that issue, what i need to ask, it is possible in jira. when I creating new issue on each board the status only viewing relating status on that board.
Thank you
Boards are not containers for issues, they are a view of a selection of issues.
If you don't want an issue to appear on a board, you need to put data on it that can be searched for, and then adjust the board filter such that it does not select issues with that data. If the data you want to drop things off boards is the status, then you have a second option.
For the main way to change the selection, go to the board, select configure the board and look at the general config page for the board. This will give you the filter that is being used to select issues for the board and you can descend into it.
If you want to work off the status, then again, go to board configuration, but look at the columns page. If you unmap status so they are not in any column, then issues in unmapped status will not appear on the board.
Hi Nic,
Thank you for this reply, actually what i need is, when i am in a one board just appear status related to that board.
Like this pic below, on this issue detail appear all issue status due to this issue creating on ax board, in need status appear is just aux in progress, aux to do and aux done.
It is possible?

Ok, that's nothing to do with the board, the status are part of the workflow.
You need to edit the workflow, removing (or hiding with conditions) the transitions to the status you don't want that go out from the current status.

@Ratih Ebtania Check each boards query and modify it to something like status in (Aux To Do,Aux In Progress,Aux Done) .
Do it for each board

If you are admin of those boards then go to board configuration and then you will find the filter query which has been used to create the board , you can modify it to suit your requirements
