DELETING STATUS

Would like to delete a Status that we no longer use.  It seems that I cannot delete a STATUS even from the Workflow.  How can I delete that STATUS

This can only be done by a Jira admin.

They will have to copy the workflow amend the copy, and add that copy to the workflow scheme to replace the initial workflow.

If you are trying to update/Change workflow of company managed project, it need Jira Admin permissions.

Please check with your Jira Admin to get it updated.
