For my JIRA dashboard, how can I limit the visibility of the dashboard for my organization people?
I have thousands of people in my organization. Most of them currently doesn't have JIRA accounts. Also, I have limit license of less than 100 users for my project and current JIRA product. If I am allowing dashboard view as public, any non-organization user can see all activities without sign-in. Is there any way I can share the dashboard for my organization only?
Hi @Samarth Patel @Trudy Claspill
I suggest taking a look at the Analytics & Reports add-on by Screenful. This Jira add-on makes it easy to set up weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and have them automatically delivered to the right stakeholders. Reports can be embedded to any website or shared with a public link so that anyone can access them without having to log in. Here's an example report:
You can use any date range in these reports and you can freely customize the content. You can learn more about our reports feature from this guide. Feel free to reach out to support@screenful.com for more details.
From what type of project(s) does the data in the dashboard originate?
For Software type projects, there is not a way to do this with native Jira functionality.
For Service Management project, I've read about third party apps that can help produce reports for customers to view, and in JSM "customers" are not licensed users.
I'm not sure if there are similar third party apps that would create reports outside of Jira for consumption by unlicensed users.
