We have dashboard on which project teams and their functional areas are there. For each of area there is column of Status which To Do,Open,Backlog, In progress,Done Resolved and Closed where count is there(Example To Do-7 Backlog-2, Open-1, Inprogree-2. etc) Is there any chance to get on the dashboard single count for To Do, Open and Backlog together( as above mentioned To Do 7 Open-1 Backlog-2 Total is 10 ) Instead of columns To Do Backlog and open count separately we need to get total 10 under any single column like either To Do or Open or Backlog which these statuses are from different project area teams. Is there any possibility to get this requirement. Dashboard is shown below example
Details ToDo Back log Open In Prog Closed
A. 7 2 1 3 4
B. 3 4 5 6 5
In this above To do, Backlog ,Open are there those total need to be in single column
Hello @Vinod Kumar
As far as I know, it is not possible without third-party add-ons. But, as an alternative, I can recommend you to try Time in Status for Jira Cloud and its Status Count report. It shows how many times an issue has been in each status.
In case, you need to get the data on how many transitions has been between statuses, a Transition Count report can help you fully.
Also, you can export this data in CSV or XLSX files for further analysis.
This add-on is developed by my team and is free for using up to 10 users. So let me know if you have any additional questions.
Hope it helps
Hi, @Vinod Kumar !
I think it's not possible out-of-box.

Hi @Vinod Kumar
There is a good solution for your request - Status Time Reports app developed by our team.
By default, it provides reports on how much time passed in each status but it also shows status entry counts (how many times an issue has been in each status). You can also export the report as CSV and open it in Excel.
Here is our online demo link, please see Status count & entry dates report.
If you are looking for a free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Free.
Hope it helps.

Hello @Vinod Kumar
Jira does not give this as a ready-to-use report but you can get this with a marketplace app.
Our team at OBSS built Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira for this exact need. It is available for Jira Server, Cloud, and Data Center.
Time in Status mainly allows you to see how much time each issue spent on each status and on each assignee.
The app also has count reports that show how many times each Status and each Transition was used.
For all numeric report types, you can calculate averages and sums of those durations grouped by the issue fields you select. For example total in-progress time per customer (organization) or average resolution time per sprint, week, month, issuetype, request type, etc. The ability to group by parts of dates (year, month, week, day, hour) or sprints is particularly useful here since it allows you to compare different time periods or see the trend.
The app calculates its reports using already existing Jira issue histories so when you install the app, you don't need to add anything to your issue workflows and you can get reports on your past issues as well. It supports both Company Managed and Team Managed projects.
Time in Status reports can be accessed through its own reporting page, dashboard gadgets, and issue view screen tabs. All these options can provide both calculated data tables and charts.
And the app has a REST API so you can get the reports from Jira UI or via REST.
Using Time in Status you can:
