Data added to a closed sprint is not appearing on the Sprint Report

Guy Pontecorvo March 14, 2019

Realizing that "estimated story points" was being recorded and not "story points", I added story points to the screen for create, edit and view. I went back and populated story points in all stories for a closed sprint. When I run the sprint report for that (closed) sprint it is still not showing story point values in the report.

When I look at the completed issues on the report page story points do not show up in he list view (except 1) even though the story points fields are populated and appear when I open the issue and look at the detail view. This is weird. One issue is displaying 5, but when I open it the points are 8.

@Guy Pontecorvo , try reindexing the Jira project related to the board.

Thanks Peter, I am reviewing with colleagues and will let you know what we decide to do. One thing I learned is that the sprint report does not pull from any updated values after the sprint has closed. It is based on the snapshot when the sprint closed. So one part of this would require opening the sprint and re-running the report.
