Data migration between Jira accounts (hosted vs. installed)

I have an 10 user installed Jira. Am considering to upgrade to 500 user installed. Upon purchase/confirmation, is it a mater of just having more users after or I need to migrate all my data/projects in the 10 user account to the newly upgraded 500 user account?

Hey Keith,

If you have 1 instance and upgrading from 10 to 500 users, it is just a license upgrade.

If you have multiple instance with 10 users in each, and want to migrate to a single instance, then you will have to migrate data.
