Hi,

I have an issue with displaying date and time in user locale.

Prerequisites:

Jira Cloud Service Desk with Date Time field (in my case it's new custom field) for user input while creating an issue (for ex. incident).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log in as Service Desk user
  2. Go to your profile->'Edit preferences'-> and choose for ex. 'Norsk (Norge)'-> Save
  3. Make sure that language in the system changed
  4. Try to create any case in Service Desk which has Date Time field, select any value from Date and Time component:

  5. You'll get an error:

Although you can't do write the date (and time) in any other format

Hi Petro,

Thank you for reporting this issue.
I was able to reproduce the same error on a test instance using Norsk and many other languages:

norsk, Tiếng Việt, русский (Россия), magyar (Magyarország), Dansk, suomi, íslenska (Ísland), Dansk (Danmark), polski (Polska), Eesti (Eesti), Tiếng Việt (Việt Nam), polski, 中文 (中国), svenska (Sverige), 日本語 (日本), русский, íslenska, suomi (Suomi), 中文, Eesti, Norwegian Bokmål, svenska, magyar, norsk (Norge)

As this issue also happens on another instance, I opened a bug for our dev team to check and fix the issue:

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

If you have any other question, please let us know.

Angélica
