Default Assignee

I we have a default assignee set to a certain component. Will it then still possible to set any task/question of that component to another assignee? Can we (incidently) override this default assignee? It must be possible to pick up things from an component by somebody else.

Hi Els,

This is totally possible. The default assignee value just decides who the ticket is initially assigned to. It can’t be reassigned after that to anybody who is defined as Assignable by the permissions scheme in your project.
