Hello,
i would add a Userstory Template in the description Field in every new story.
If klick on "Create" this Template should be displayed in "Description" Field.
Only if i create a new Ticket, this filed should be filled out with the template for a specific Project and only for the Tickettype "Story"
Existing Values in this field by modify a ticket does not changed.
I have found this Post: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/4.2.0.2/jira/recipes/workflow/conditions.html
But it is to old and doesn't work with Script-runner 7.2.0. And i have no experience with Scriptrunner.
How can i solve my requirement with Scriptrunner 7.2.
Thanks in advanced
If you don’t mind using a plugin, I believe that as an alternative to a default value defined for description and ScriptRunner, you could also use our Issue Templates for Jira app to automatically apply a predefined text into every new story.
In short, the app allows you to create a repository of reusable templates for all different types and populate selected issue fields automatically with a value defined in the template. Such a template can be also set as default for the Create Issue Screen, and thanks to that it will be automatically applied to chosen issue types in a project.
For more details, I encourage you to see this chapter in our online documentation: Default templates. I hope you will find it useful!
Feel free to reach out or reply directly in this thread for more details. I will be happy to help!
Cheers,
Aleksandra

Sure thing, I understand that ScriptRunner is a powerful tool that will help address this requirement as well 😉

Hi @frank lohfeld,
I found documentation which (I guess) is more up-to-date: https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/features/workflows/conditions/custom-conditions
If you still need help, I recommend you submit a ticket on the Adaptavist customer portal: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/servicedesk/customer/user/login?destination=portals.
Best regards,
Kate
