Default assignee for Epic

Is there a way in JIRA Agile to have a default assignee (like there is at the project level) for epics? We have a specific developer working on specific epics so it would be nice to not have to assign it to them every time.

Hey there,
you could auto assign a team or the specific person in the workflow over a post-function while create-transition.
Use "Update Issue Field" and set the team account or single user there.
