Default sub-task issue type - how to?

Dear All,

many users of our Jira need to set a default sub-task issue type in their project. The fact is that there are 4 sub-task issue types and they want to have a default one when creating subtask.

How is it possible?

Thanks,
Rumi

you have to rearrange the subtask issue types on IssueType Scheme for that project

A default sub-task issue type is automatically available for use. You can edit it by clicking its Edit link in the Operations column.

You could also refer to this guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Sub-tasks

Hello,

where is this menu?

It's not possible to set a subtask issue type as default. Anyways I guessed that it could be do so only in the issue type scheme. The page you refer also doesn't tell about this topic.
