Hi,

Is there an easy way to delete all these issues from a Backlog of a  Project at one go?

I checked the documentation and it mentioned being able to Bulk edit after selecting a filter and clicking the three dots on the top right, but I can't find such an option.

Thank you!

As Jack answered, I would not advise to delete. There is no going back after that. Why not simple use a status , i.e cancelled?

What's the benefit of deleting 200+ issues?

Regarding bulk issue, you need to have permission for that. Check your permissions!

And certainly revise your strategy

@Sze Wing Choi, first let’s be sure you truly want to “delete” these issues. When you delete them they are gone for good from the system not just the Backlog.

assuming you wish to proceed then bulk edit is the way to go. You will need to have permissions to perform delete operation. If you are the admin then you do. Go to the “search for issues” screen and enter the JQL that will capture the list of issues you need to delete. Then in the upper right you should see the ellipses which allows you to bulk edit. Follow you instructions from there.

Caution: Regarding your filter, be sure that it indeed represents the issues you wish to delete.
