I'm the Admin in a project and have provided the "Delete Issues" role to several team members. Even after logging out and logging back in, they still can't delete the issue via the .... Actions menu option. I've dropped them/re-added them several times and it's still not working for them. I do not want to give them the "Project Admin" permissions but would like them to have the ability to delete issues accordingly. Anybody have suggestions on how to make this work for them? NOTE: I gave them the permission within Project Settings | People via the Add People button and indicated Role of "Delete Issues" and then selected Add.
Hi Robyn, did you ever get a resolution to this problem. We are having the exact same issue. I've checked the permissions helper and the user has delete permission for the relevant issue in the project they are in.
They can see Delete in the ... menu in the issue details, but not in the ... menu on the card in the Board.
Hi Robyn,
Can you please share a screenshot of what is in your permission scheme for delete issues. Project settings > permissions - Delete issues
One final note - I strongly recommend not providing individuals with delete permissions. Deleting issues cannot be undone and invariably something will get deleted and you will be scrambling to try to figure out how to recover it. Rarely do I use this feature the only real exception is when I'm setting up a project and allowing the team to create test issues and they desire to clean everything out before they get started officially.

Hi @robyn.graham it will be probably some mistake in your configuration. Can you provide screenshots of your People page and Permissions page?
