Hi,
We've added to the Description field of a Story issue type a default value based on the method described in the following link. It works when creating an issue from Jira-->Issues-->Create Issue menu option. But, it doesn't work when creating an issue from Jira-->Structure-->Next issue.
I'd appreciate your help.

Dear Ohad,
The customization described in the article you mentioned only changes the form that shows the description - so if the description is empty, it shows the default text. It is not a true default value in the sense that JIRA uses this value when no description is given.
The only workaround I can think of is to add Description to the Structure grid (see https://wiki.almworks.com/x/5Aqf ) and, when using "Next Issue", after entering Summary, switch to Description (you can use Tab key) to review or edit the description. However, I'm not sure if the default value will be stored if you don't change it.
Except for this approach, Structure won't be able to support this customization, sorry. You might be interested in a future feature, which will integrate the standard "Create Issue" dialog with "+Next-Issue" and "+Sub-Issue" - https://jira.almworks.com/browse/HJ-795
Kind regards,
Igor
