Development panel not showing commits or branches

We have been using JIRA Software Cloud and Bitbucket Cloud together for some time, and we create branches from the JIRA ticket's Development panel. 

The Development panel shows commits and branches sometimes but we created a new project and linked to bitbucket repo, and can't seem to get info to show up in its Dev. panel.

I'm not sure if there's a magic setting somewhere? or if there's a long delay before changes are reflected in the JIRA ticket? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did anyone ever get this resolved?  I have been having the same issue for some time, able to Create new Branch, but once created, the Dev Panel no longer shows the link to branch or commits, just "Create New Branch" again.

Was able to resolve on our own by simply disconnecting Jira & Bitbucket, then re-connecting.

Then just went to BitBucket and connected them again.  It walked me through the steps (3 I think) and I was done.  Took like 3 mins.
