As of this morning (1/10/2018) I am no longer able to see the advanced searching JQL Query text box. Has something happened?
There was a similar question earlier today. It is working for me on cloud - what are you on. Which browser are you using? Try a different one. The suggestion on the earlier query is to consider Ad blocking if you have.
