Difference between 2 tickets in "Done" column where one is checked "Done", but the other isn't?

Done Column.png

Here's a screenshot to elaborate on my question. I am using a board to view tickets in a Next-Gen project. I have two tickets here in the (rightmost) "Done" column. The second ticket has a checkmark to indicate that this ticket has been completed; however, the first ticket - which is also completed - doesn't display this checkmark. Is there a field that's not updating that I should be aware of? What else does this missing field value affect?

A difference I've noted between the two is that the first ticket was dragged into that "Done" column while the second ticket (which displays the checkmark) had its status changed through the status dropdown.

Additionally, when will these completed tickets stop displaying on the board? I've seen some tickets stop displaying while others continue to stay. Could this be related to the inconsistent display of the checkmark?

Hi @gregory.abellanosa

check Resolution field for both requests. From a Jira's point of view ticket can be marked as completely resolved only if resolution is not empty.

Hi @gregory.abellanosa

I've tried to replicate this in our instance but I've not been able to do so - moving to Done provides the green tick each time regardless if it's dragged in or status changed.

Could you check what status the first ticket is listed as in by clicking on it to open the issue detail view? And is there anything unique or special about this issue (eg. moved from a classic project, etc)?

As for your question regarding tickets not displaying on the board - see below from this page:

Cards in the last column of your board are always categorized as done, meaning all work has been completed and the task has been carried out. If you’ve enabled the sprints feature, these issues won’t return to the backlog when you complete your sprint. If you don’t have the sprints feature enabled, these issues are automatically removed from the board after 14 days.

Inconsistent Ticket Statuses.pngHere are the statuses of the two tickets: Both have a "Done" status, but only one is ticked green. Perhaps it's just a visual issue? Neither ticket was imported from a previous project.

Edit: Just tried this again, and it looks like both dragging and changing the status work for this issue. I guess it's been addressed now ~
