Different scneraios for one issue

Dear all

Just wondering if it is possible to seperate one issue in different scenerios, i.e. the issue is used but with two timelines. I am considering to do one for the ideal case while the others for a deferred case. Would I eventually need to duplicate two issues to illustrate two timelines or there is a way of presenting it somehow?

Thanks.

So if i understand it correctly you would like to have 2 configuration of the same issue?

So in one scenario the issue has Field ABC with data and in another configuration it has fields XYZ with other data.

What you could do in this scenario is configure 2 different issue types with the respective configuration and a workflow (the same for both) which represents the two different scenarios. Then with automation rules you could use a "Edit issue fields" action to change the issue type. On e.g. some workflow transition or on a manual trigger.

As the field values as still saved even if the field is not displayed in the screen you could have the same issue in different "dimension", and swap between them.

If this is what you want to do that is. If not please explain further what you mean with different timelines and scenarios.
