Hi there
I am trying to give access to a user from a third party but he is experiencing issues. These are the steps to reproduce and it is giving us a 400 error bad request:
We have also tried different links for resetting password, clearing cache and new invite links.
Any ideas would be grateful- thank you!
Annabel
I can see that there is a support ticket for this problem over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-693154
I believe working in that channel would be best to isolate and identify the source of the problem here.

Hi Annabel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
So you sent him an invite, he received the email but when he clicks on the link he gets a 400 error?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
It is once he clicks on the invite and the goes to sign in he gets a 400 error bad request.

I would go ahead and create a support ticket with Atlassian:

Welcome to the community 😃!
Can you provide screenshots to provide context?
I am not able to follow how are you providing access to "third party". Usually a invite link should work if you have admin permissions.

Sorry maybe I confused things by saying 3rd party. It is a regular user. When he clicks on the invite from the email invitation he signs in and then it goes straight to a 400 bas request error.

Strange indeed! Does it happen even for resend invites ?
I have tagged Atlassian Community Support Team for further help
