How do we turn off indexing for a short period of time?
We are using the project importer to recover a large number of project from a backup.
We cannot restore the Jira Instance from this backup.
The last step of the project importer is a re-index of the project. (We would like to disable this step until all projects are loaded).
We want to run a single Locked-re-index after all of the projects have been loaded to decrease the downtime for this recovery as that runs faster than the individual project re-index’s total time.
We know about disk speed for performance and other performance gains.
This is a 400k issue 500 projects.
~350 projects & 170k issues that need to be recovered using project importer.
