We have jira setup in our slack using jira cloud notifications.
Some of our team members don't have jira acounts and keep getting slack notifications to sign up. Is there a way to disable these?
It also seems like this has intensified over the past number of weeks and it didn't use to be this persistent. Team members are getting up to 10 notifications daily at the moment.
Edit
This is a known issue by the jira team and is a backlogged feature that needs more votes to be prioritized.

@Paula Meehan Hey Paula, welcome to Atlassian Community!
There are a few different ways to limit, filter, or properly direct notifications from Jira into Slack. For example you can send the notifications into a specific channel, or adjust settings within Slack, or Jira it really depends on what would work best for your team
For example, do you want to limit notifications overall, or just for them to be more precisely directed to the right people?
I'd recommend perusing the discussion here first:

Also there's this documentation, although I appreciate it is weighty!
The thread above should help you find the best solution for you - if that works (or if you still need some help) please let me know in this thread and if needed we can figure it out together.
Best
Mike

Hi @Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira thanks for your response.
I've read through that thread (and other threads) and I haven't found a solution.
Jira is limited to specific channels in our organization, but there's a mix of jira users and non-jira users in those channels. It doesn't make sense for us to have a jira only channel for our team operations. It also doesn't make sense for the non-jira users to mute the channels. For context we use a project channels where we have a mix of designers and marketing team members in the channel who don't need access to jira.
Anytime someone shares a jira ticket link in a channel, all non-jira users get the above screenshot notification in that channel. It's not related to JQL automated updates specifically. There is no way for the non-jira members to disable the signup prompt in the channel. It really seems like jira is trying to make us add more seats to our plan.
