Disable quick view in kanban board

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Viewing an Issue

How can I disable the quick view/detail view in the kanban board?

Whenever I click on an issue, a "detail view" is opened on the right side.

I do not want this; I want to have the normal issue view. (And I do not want to ctrl-click the link).

I just see that there is an open issue for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSW-11160

So currently, it's only possible to disable it with the plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.stagil.jira.stagil-issue-viewer/server/overview
