Hi,
I am trying to disable worklog notifications for time spent, time remaining etc. These fill up the majority of my emails from jira and make it hard for me to see items that I need to respond to. I have tried to follow the steps in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-notification-schemes/ but Issues is not available from the settings/cog icon. How can I stop myself from receiving these?
Good Day @Gary Smith ,
As @brbojorque , For every Jira issue notification in project , we have "Notification Scheme". This consists of various set of email notification templates as "Creating issues", "editing issue", "delete", comment , worklog etc.
for every kind of these operations users will be notified, these users are configured by Jira Admin with the help of project admins.
These are common for all project level users. if it disabled in notifications, other users can't get email notifications related to worklogs.
The below are the worklog related email notifications.
This is default template , you can discuss with your Project Admin / Jira admin.
Thanks
Hi @Gary Smith ,
It could be that you are not an Administrator / Project Administrator. Ask an admin to do it for you.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Can the admin allow the permission for individuals to control their own inbox? It seems perverse that another person controls your inbox

Hi @Gary Smith , No, they don't have access to your inbox. It has something to do with the configurations of the project (Notification Scheme) and only Administrators have control over it.
You have to ask your Jira Administrator if work log notifications can be disabled because of spam.
