Disallow transition based on two fields

Hi all,

I am trying to work out how to disallow a transition based on the following:

'Driver' - Custom Field = Select List (multiple choices)

Several Issue picker fields which correspond to choices in the Driver field

So for this we'll say that we will select "Problem" as the entry in the Driver field, and the related issue picker is therefore called "Linked Problem"

I then want to be able to prevent the transition if there is no entry in the Problem link field.

We have plenty of add-ons giving extra validators & conditions but I can seem to find one that will allow me to do this.

Ok, I have worked out how to use nested conditions to achieve the result - unfortunately that makes the transition vanish, and doesn't say why, and given the amount of data that is being recorded it isn't necessarily feasible to expect everything to be looked through to find what is wrong.

So I really need a way to do this via validators or some other way that will give some form of warning when the condition/validator etc etc isn't met.
