Discussing Jira tickets in Telegram and link previews

Telegram has a nice little feature called link previews when pasting a link to a jira ticket into telegram instead of getting a nice preview of the ticket title, description etc, you see something like this...

"Log in with Atlassian account
Log in to Jira, Confluence, and all other Atlassian Cloud products here. Not an Atlassian user? Sign up for free."

Has anyone found a way to get link previews for jira tickets to provide details of the jira ticket?

From Jira support perspective, this is not a simple request as JIRA doesn't support Telegram out of the box.

Unless you have a public project, I don't think it would be feasible to set this on Jira Cloud, specially when thinking in our privacy policy.

There is a third-party add-on for Jira server that does that: Telegram Integration For Jira

They also have a Telegram group which you can leave your suggestions for new features, I suggest you to reach out to them. :)

I know this is probably not the answer you were expecting to get, so let me know if something is still not clear for you!
