We are using bit bucket for SCM and we have a business requirement in which we want to know like, that story/bug is merged in which branch (B1, develop, QA, etc.) so how can we get this information in the JIRA ?
Is there any plugin or any pre-defined field through which we can get this information ?
Currently we know that there is a field called "Development" but over there we only get to know about number of branch but we want to know exactly in which branch code is merged to?
Welcome to Atlassian Community !!
OOTB as far as i know there isn't a functionality to see which branch story is merged.
We have development tab available which come when there is DVCS account which shows basic info like branches, commits and pull requests at high level, but when we click those highlights then it would show the details.
To get the info you are asking there, I am not sure on if we could get the exact branch but we have option called "Git Roll Up" in Git Integration for Jira app.
Would suggest to take a look at these add-ons, try them and see if it would meet your requirement https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1210545/bigbrassband-a-gitkraken-company
Hope this helps !!
