Downloaded and installed Crucible for evaluation and got the following message
"This evaluation version of Crucible runs together with FishEye, Atlassian's powerful repository browsing and monitoring tool.Crucible is significantly enhanced by FishEye's search and browse capabilities. Learn more"
Does this mean Crucible requires FishEye server? Currently I don't have a FishEye server setup and my JIRA instance is using Subversion plugin to talk to our existing repository. First, I would like try Crucible without FishEye to see what it has to offer.
You can run Cucible alone but some features will be missing. See http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=154633623
Thanks. Since I don't have FishEye installed I am assuming that Crucible is using built-in "light" mode of FishEye. Is that correct?

AFAIK, the Eval license gives you both FishEye and Crucible. (The only difference is the license, not the installed software.) Therefore, I think you are already using FishEye if you are running the eval license.

Well, not really. You need a valid license for it. The application is there but the functionalitites will be active only if you have valid license.
