Does Jira Portfolio for Cloud offer an API yet?

Looking to integrate Jira Portfolio plan information with an Excel sheet I am building and would be useful to use a REST API for this integration. I saw APIs available on Jira Server, but haven't found any recent information about availability in Atlassian Cloud. Wondering if this is supported? Even as a beta capability, would be extremely useful.

An API for Jira Cloud is not yet available.
