Does anybody use the feature "Store Jira data on your own device"?

Hi everyone,

We are considering using the this feature "Store Jira data on you own device". 

Has anyone implemented this feature?

• Does anyone have concerns regarding data privacy? There are always cases where employees use personal devices for us so we cannot prevent it.
• Has anyone experienced any performance improvements by storing data locally?

We recently had a discussion about it. One pov is yours, but our ISO has the following perspective: Every employee should use the dedicated, secure devices, else we have a different level of security breach anyways.

But we don't use it globally, it would be better to have as: Enabled globally and then each user can decide if they want to opt-in.
