Does jira.websudo.is.disabled = true work in version 4.4 JIRA?

I have updated the jira-config.properties. I restarted the service, but it appears it is being ignored.

This should work without any issue, assuming jira-config.properties file is in JIRA home directory.

You can check what JIRA thinks the value is by going tohttp://YOURSERVER/secure/admin/ViewSystemInfo.jspa and looking for "websudo" on that page.

Yea, i disable websudo on my jira 4.4 instance, and it works.

Perhaps you can provide more info, or request support from the legendary support.

I have the same problem on Jira 4.3.

Posted as JRA-25199, and now investigating as JSP-86827 support request.
