Done issues not showing as "done"

Yiwen Sim March 29, 2019

I have a custom workflow with two statuses ('approved', and 'delivered') as my "done" states. However, when an issue is placed in either of those statuses, the issue does not get crossed out (usually done issues get a strikethrough on the ticket number) and it does not display the "done" check mark icon. Help???

When placing an issue in a "done" status, you also need to set a value in the Resolution field. When the Resolution is set to anything besides "Unresolved," that's when you see the strikethrough on the issue key/ticket number, and this should also be what controls the "done" check mark icon, as well.

Additionally, I would also suggest that you have one, single "done" status, then give your users the ability to choose a "Resolution" value of "Approved" or "Delivered." Usually, the Resolution field is used to indicate "why" an issue is done/closed, instead of using two different statuses for this purpose. Helps keep workflows cleaner, in my opinion. :)

Thanks! How do I set a Resolution field? Is it possible for it conditionally pop up when a "done" status is set?

Actually, I can see the resolution field in the old Jira view; but in the new Jira view, I can't seem to see it.

Also, in the old Jira view, when I open the "Workflow" tab (see screenshot below), I see workflows that are not workflows that I had set up. Strange :/
