Dragging and dropping a file in JIRA issue does not create a link

I used to drag and drop a file to a JIRA issue comment box, it would produce a text link to that file (in addition to uploading the file).

Now the text link has not been produced when dragging and dropping a file, only attachment is created

I am not sure what cause this issue or how to enable this again ?

This seems to happen after we upgrade Jira Server from 7.1.10 to 7.6.3, but I dint fin anything in the release notes

Was the comment box opened when you drag and dropping the file?

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
