We're trying Jira Plans and beginning to like the timeline view for classic projects. Is there a way or a tool to see or mark an issue that has been extended after the initial due date?
My situation:
Viewing the Plan I can see issues of all types that are overdue. However, seeing these items as overdue I have no way of knowing if when will this be done until I extend the due date. Is there a way to mark an issue that a due date has been extended? I cannot afford to just leave the issues lapsing the due date without an ending. If I extend the due date, there's also no way for me to identify that issue that it's due date has been extended.
Or maybe change the color of an issue if its due date has been extended?
Thanks
Thanks
Hello @Andrew Q.
Here are a few solutions for you to choose which one approaches you the best.
You can try SLA Time and Report, which allows adding SLAs to Jira Cloud issues. You just need to set a time limit for each SLA configuration and choose the automated action for exceeded issues: changing reporter, priority, or status. Also, you can set a notification for overdue issues.
Boomerang: Reminders for Jira Issues reminds teams or users about important issues in Jira Cloud and about issues' deadlines. Set automatic reminders on comments to issues and get reminders. What can be more simple?
Also, you can try Time between Statuses, which calculates transition time between statuses. You will have the ability to set time limits for different stages of the workflow (groups of statuses). The exceeded issues will be highlighted and you will be able to set notifications for them.
If you have any questions, I'm glad to help you
Best regards, Mariana.
