I am trying to build a table in Jira where user can enter
I want a table to support an ADD ROW bottom so that user can insert multiple products rows easily
I explore using custom fields, but they don't allow dynamic row addition.
Could you please help on this
Hello @Muthupandi Murugesan
If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your Jira data that allows viewing, inline-editing, copy-pasting, sorting, and filtering by all your work items' fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheet, or Airtable.
Inline creation of work items is also supported and if you create the work item in a certain group (e.g. Product in your case), we will set the corresponding field for you.
This is how it looks in action:
Best,
Martin

Hello @Muthupandi Murugesan ,
You can see the next (Table Grid Next Generation) app: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217571/table-grid-next-generation?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Thank you Pedro Olmo
Jira Data Center / Server → Table Grid Next Generation (TGNG) app to create a custom field of type "Table Grid". That custom field behaves like a grid inside the issue screen.
Jira Cloud → Cannot create a native Jira custom field of type Table Grid.
Could you please suggest any workaround to create a custom field of type in Jira Cloud

Hello @Muthupandi Murugesan ,
You can create Grids that behave like custom fields. These grids can be displayed in the view mode of a ticket, and they can even be added to a JSM form so that a customer can fill them in.
Why isn’t it working for you?
Here’s a quick guide on how to create these grids:

Hello Perdo
Although grids function similarly to custom fields, they cannot be included in filters or dashboards. Do you have any workaround for the same?

Hi,
Welcome to the community
If you want to add a dynamic table in a jira issue you will need to look at the marketplace. This is not possible out of the box.
