Easy way to change project type

Project created with project type Software need to change and keep all history including the name of the project.

if you move the issues, delete the current project from the trash, you can keep the old name. but other than that, @Michel Neeser 's solution is the only one

You can't change the project type after creating the project. However, you can create a new project and move all issues including their history to this new project.

What is the reason you want to change to another project type?
