Need: Download the information from JIRA to be able to measure the SLA's and then display them on a dashboard.

We worked with Time To SLA to measure the SLAS, we already have it working and the indicators are correct, but we cannot show it in eazy BI since there is no compatibility between both tools in Jira Software.

Currently we extract the data using Google Sheet to download a large amount of information, since directly from JIRA it can only be downloaded 1000 at a time. However, Google Sheet has several interruptions when downloading, so it would not be a useful tool for this request.

Keep in mind that in JIRA we handle approximately 300,000 registrations per month and to measure the SLAs it would be necessary to download the date on which the status changes.

Queries:
Is there a way at Jira Software to extract the data directly from your database?
Is there another more efficient way to download the information?

If you have any kind of support, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi @Ruth Estefani Carhuas Misari ,

Welcome to the Community! Did you check how to export issues using Jira API? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/How-to-export-all-issues-from-Jira-via-API/ba-p/2126063

Also, you may be able to accomplish what you're trying to do with Smartsheets integration: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215530/jira-connector-by-smartsheet?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

Hi @Ruth Estefani Carhuas Misari

Welcome to the community!!

Nice to greet you, I´m Jose from DEISER, to answer your question I will try to find the best solution to help you.

Firstly on this blog, you can find how to export issues from Jira - > https://blog.deiser.com/en/seven-ways-to-export-jira-issues

On the other hand, probably you can use a marketplace plugin to export more issues at the same time.

In DEISER, we develop different tools for the marketplace, here you can find one of our apps with all documentation and you can try our free trial -> https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212073/exporter-export-issues-to-excel-csv-pdf?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

If you need more information please reach me directly or to our support team, they are glad to help you too.

Kind regards,

Jose

Hello @Ruth Estefani Carhuas Misari

Thanks for raising this topic!

eazyBI currently doesn't have default integration with Time to SLA app, but it is in our backlog of possible integrations.

There is a workaround solution how to import data from Time to SLA app into eazyBI Jira Issues data cube. Please learn more about that here -https://confluence.snapbytes.com/time-to-sla/knowledge-base/faq/how-can-i-integrate-time-to-sla-with-eazybi

If you have any additional questions about how to build reports after data is imported, please don't hesitate to reach out to support@eazybi.com

Best wishes,

Elita from support@eazybi.com

Hi @Ruth Estefani Carhuas Misari

We have recently released eazyBI version 7.1 and introduced the new integration with the Time To SLA app. The integration is also available on the Cloud.

Please see the documentation for more details: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/data-import/data-from-jira-apps/time-to-sla.

Best,
Zane / suppot@eazyBI.com
