Hello,

in my instance i have end date field and due date field. Due date field is not very used.

However i would like to use element copy sync to synchronize the values from end date field on the due date field.

How i should configure? to be available for all issue types and for all proJects?

Thank you

Hi Cristina,

I am part of the Elements Support team.

First, please let me clarify your need. Elements Copy & Sync allows to synchronize data between several issues, and is not intended to synchronize data within a single ticket. So if you want to sync the "end date" and "due date" fields in the same ticket, it will not work with our app.

So, if you want to synchronize the "end date" and "due date" fields between 2 linked issues, here are the actions to perform:

  • Edit your Recipe configuration
  • Go to the Content tab
  • In the section "Fields Mapping options", add the "due date" and "end date" fields and activate the "Synchronized" option:

Another solution is to set a dynamic value, as explained in the following documentation: Initialize date fields with dynamic values

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Simon.
