You can customize notifications using our add-on: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.vacom.jirassimo/cloud/overview

Hi Carole,

with JIRA Cloud, I think it is not possible to customize the email templates. With a self-hosted Jira, you can change the templates as described here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-email-content-802592932.html
