Hi All
I have a strange issue.
Few users in Jira for my project are not receiving emails while others are .
I checked their personal preference , it is set correctly.
Also in the notification helper , I tried to add that user and check .
What and how to solve this problem ?
Can someone send me step by step process please to solve this ?
Regards
Preem
No Fazila , the person has not been able to receive emails right from the start .
I have also checked his personal settings and they are enabled .
@Preem Prakassh Dayaal , i am not sure what is enabled in personal settings.
But i would recommend you to do a "Send email" as mentioned by @Tony Langlet below.
The notification helper almost always finds the cause if it the cause is inside JIRA. It tells if the misconfiguration is with notification scheme, license , permission etc.
If notification helper says its alright, then you might have to troubleshoot in the network, email client etc.

Hello @Preem Prakassh Dayaal
First I would suggest have a look at @Fazila Ashraf answer as it sound like some of your colleagues might have created a mail rule to ignore Jira mails.
You would configure the notification scheme in the project, either create a new one or reuse one with the settings according to your preferences.
It all depends on what settings you've set, do you want others than the reporter and assignee to receive notifications, by default only the reporter and the current assignee will receive notifications?
You could also try the mail settings from the Jira Settings page

So according to the notification helper, for the given action the user should be receiving email?
Did it work before and suddenly stopped?
Do they have any rule in their email client or something blocking in their mail network?
