'Epic Link' field not configured for Projects but still ask for it in project

Hi All,

Need your Help.

I created new project:

Defined new  issues types, issue type screen, field configuration, workflow and workflow screen.

Not on any place added this field " EPic Link";  Hence not configured in screens.

Now while creating issue it gives Error : provide 'epic link'

How can I trace from where this field is getting picked up? and how can I remove it for this project.

Its not mapped to any of project configurations at all. Is it JIRA mandatory field?

I know I can add it to screen and fill it to get read of issues. But I dont wnat Epic Link filed fro this project

epic link it not needed, but is it set as a required field in the field configuration ? If yes, then this is why that error is appearing
