Epic Sum Up gadget and filter do not show any progress bars for me

Discovered my company has the Epic Sum Up widget and having a hard time with it and it's poor documentation. 

I created the Epic Sum Up filter and Gadget option on both a Jira dashboard and Confluence wiki page. No matter what fields I select I don't see any sort of green bar to show tickets done or points done in tickets linked to the Epic. Help?

I'm Johanna from the Epic Sum Up Marketing Team and I am happy to help you. 

First off sorry about the documentation we're working on a complete new one. 

How you do this depends if you're using Cloud or Server / Data Center. If you're on Server / Data Center you need to create a custom field first and configure it to show the Story Points progress bar. I am having an issue seeing the IN PROGRESS statuses on my progress bars.

Is there a way for me to set this up?
